Magpie Pictures is an Australian production company committed to telling original stories on screen. Established in 2014 by Lois Randall, the company is based in Lennox Head in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

Producer - animated short drama by Tim Adlide, broadcast SBS 2002 (Home Movies series), Highly Commended Dendy Awards, Sydney Film Festival 2002

Production Manager - Large format science feature by John Weiley, collaboration with NASA and ESA and funded by National Science
Foundation USA. Locations included the Arctic Circle, Poland, USA, UK, Alaska, Bolivia and Peru. Screened as permanent exhibition in Smithsonian Imax Centre and Science museums internationally from 2001.

With extensive experience in screen and arts industry production and management, including working at a national and state level, Lois also provides consultancy services to government and industry agencies and companies.
